一直从事口腔颌面外科专业工作，对于口腔颌面部良恶性肿瘤、包括舌癌，颊癌，牙龈癌等恶性肿瘤的手术及综合治疗，颌面骨畸形（正颌外科手术），涎腺肿瘤，颌面部各类炎症、唇腭裂、颌骨骨折、颞下颌关节病、三叉神经痛等疾病的诊治均有丰富的经验。尤其擅长口腔癌的根治切除，颈淋巴结清扫，手术后缺损的各类皮瓣的修复重建，正颌外科手术。
广东省口腔颌面外科专业委员会副主任委员、广东省医学会颌面头颈肿瘤外科专业委员会副主任委员、广东省保健协会口腔保健分会副主任委员，中国抗癌协会肿瘤微创专业委员会常委；主持广东省科技计划项目1项，广州市科学研究计划项目1项，参与数项省级课题，颌面外科专业领域发表论文数十篇，其中SCI论文10多篇，最高影响因子7.3分（INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF CANCER）。Oncotarget 审稿专家；Oncology Reports审稿专家；Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research 审稿专家
