南方医科大学珠江医院肿瘤科科室主任，教授，主任医师，博士生导师，博⼠后合作导师，澳大利亚墨尔本大学 Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre 访问学者。羊城好医生。担任中国生物医学工程学会肿瘤靶向治疗技术分会常务理事、广东省医师协会肿瘤多学科诊疗模式工作委员会副主任委员、广东省医学教育学会肿瘤学专业委员会副主任委员、广州抗癌协会化疗专业委员会主任委员、广东省医学会肿瘤学分会第八届委员会常务委员、广东省临床医学学会华南名医联盟肿瘤专科联盟副理事长、广东省细胞生物学学会常务理事、广东省保健协会肿瘤防治与康复分会副主任委员。
多年来聚焦于小细胞肺癌的临床和转化研究，先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目4项、⼴东省⾃然科学基⾦、南方医科大学临床重点项目及多项临床研究项目。近年来以通讯作者身份在JTO,eClinicalMedicine, Gut, Mol Cancer, iMeta, J Adv Res, Pharmacol Res, Br J Surg, Cell Death Dis, J Exp Clin Cancer Res, Cancer Lett, Theranostics等杂志上发表肿瘤学论文100余篇。谷歌学术H-index 34。研究比较了中国人小细胞肺癌和高加索人分子特点的区别、细胞克隆进化的过程、化疗耐药的逆转方法及免疫治疗在小细胞肺癌的应用特点；建立了小细胞肺癌基因敲除小鼠模型；和国内外顶尖科研团队建立了密切的合作。组织发布了全球第一个《生成式AI的一个应用性的指南》及《生成式AI回答的人工评估的专家共识》。筹备撰写《肿瘤化疗不良反应临床管理专家共识》。已和Wiley签约2本期刊：《Med Research》、《iMetaMed 》预计2本期刊能在2026年底被WoS收录，2027年中能有第一个影响因子，预计影响因子在10-15分。其中iMetaMed为iMeta子刊（IF 23.7 位列微生物学研究期刊全球第一，预计24年IF=34分）。
注重研究生及本科生的带教培养，指导的研究生两人次，先后获得广东省优秀硕士论文，指导的本科生获得“挑战杯”的省奖及国奖。
