现任广东省医师协会动物伤害防治专业委员会主任委员，广东省医师协会急诊医师分会常务委员，广东省预防医学会急诊与急症防治专业委员会副主任委员，广东省急诊医学会常委，中国中西医结合学会灾难医学委员会副主任委员，中国研究院医院卫生应急与灾害医学专业委员会常委，中国医学装备协会POCT委员会常务委员，《中华卫生应急电子杂志》编委，广东省胸痛中心常务理事。

2016年获第二届羊城好医生称号，2015年被中国中西医结合学会灾害医学委员会授予中国卫生应急医学贡献奖，2011年被中国中西医结合学会授予优秀青年贡献奖，，获军队科技进步三等奖一次（2001年）,获2019年中国中西医结合学会科技技术二等奖（合作单位）。

主持省自然等各类省级基金6项，参与国自然一项，发表论文70余篇，其中SCI影响因子3到18分20余篇。获专利三项。副主编《全科急救学》《现代危重病救治进展》，参编全国高等院校统编教材《急诊医学》，《突发公共事件医疗救治》，《动物伤200问》。本人研究方向主要为肝细胞铁死亡的机制，水凝胶医学应用与神经修复的基础研究，脓毒血症的机制研究。已招收硕士13名、博士研究生2名。
