Research
I mainly focus on Clinical Epidemiology of hematological disorder and cancer. Based on large medical database, our team applied different epidemiological designs and statistical methods to investigate various links among phenotypes, genetics, environmental factors as well as lifestyle factors.
Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP)
CHIP is a representative miniature of pre-cancerous medical condition, I am very interested in studying the Clinical Epidemiology of CHIP. Based on health registers and genetic sequencing data, our team applied various tools including longitudinal cohort studies, case-control studies as well as GWAS, to study CHIP. We are curious about everything in relation to CHIP as well as other types of pre-cancerous medical conditions.
Psyco-Oncology
I am interested in the bi-directional association between psychiatric disorders and cancer (including hematological malignancy as well as solid cancer). Our team investigated psychiatric disorders as risk factors, consequences or prognostic factors of cancer, using different healthcare registers.

Our lab has close cooperations with top scientists in Karolinska Institutet (KI). Group members in our lab have great opportunities to work with top scientists in KI or go to KI for further study.
Sincerely welcome to join us to pursue the nature and pleasure of Medical Sciences!
