主要从事医学影像学的医疗、科研和教学工作，指导29名研究生。主编和副主编专著及教材11部，参编专著和教材16部。主持《医学影像学》国家级精品课程、国家级数字课程、国家一流线上课程、广东省一流线上课程各1项。主持和参与国自然科学基金5项，主持和参与省市级科研课题9项。主持获得广东省教学成果二等奖1项，广州市科技进步二等奖1项，南方医科大学教学成果一等奖各1项，教学优秀一等奖2项。近年来主要从事脑肿瘤影像诊断和人工智能研究，在Radiology、ER、JMRI、AJNR及中华放射学杂志等期刊发表论文120余篇。
