个人简介

南方医科大学公共卫生学院教授、博导,营养与食品卫生学系党支部书记、系主任。博士毕业于浙江大学,曾先后于香港浸会大学和美国北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校(UNC-CH)从事营养学访问学者和博士后研究。

长期从事营养与健康领域的科研、教学及科普工作,主要研究方向为慢性代谢性疾病分子机制及其膳食营养防治。主持国家自然科学基金(6项)、广东省自然科学基金等课题20多项,在J. Adv. Res.、 Mol. Nutr. Food Res.、Food Res.Int.等SCI期刊发表论文70多篇。已培养研究生56名(含博士生11名,留学生26名),指导博士后2名。主持省、校级教改课题3项;获省级教学竞赛一等奖;副主编教材1部,参编教材5部,专著1部。入选广东省千百十工程;获评南医优秀教师(第10届)、感动南医·立德树人好导师(第11届)。

目前担任中国营养学会理事;广东医学微量元素学会理事长;广东省营养学会副理事长;广东省营养学会精准(个性化)营养分会主任委员;中国营养学会营养与保健食品分会委员;中国营养学会营养与组学技术分会委员;中国生物化学与分子生物学学会会员;美国营养学会会员、北美华人营养学会会员;广东省保健协会体重管理分会副主任委员等学术兼职。

研究领域

本课题组主要从事膳食营养与慢性代谢性疾病(Chronic metabolic diseases, CMDs)防治领域的科学研究工作,主要研究方向包括:

1. 植物化学物与慢性代谢性疾病防治研究

随着我国社会经济的快速增长,国民的营养健康问题却日趋严重,其中包括肥胖(Obesity)、II型糖尿病(Type 2 Diabetes, T2D)、癌症(Cancer)、心脑血管疾病(Cardiovascular Diseases, CVDs)、代谢相关脂肪性肝病(Metabolic Dysfunction-associated Fatty Liver Disease, MAFLD)等慢性病的发病呈逐年增长趋势。此类疾病不但严重损害国民的健康,降低生活质量,而且已成为致死的主要原因。现代营养学研究认为,植物性食物中的植物化学物(phytochemicals)具有抗癌、抗炎、抗氧化等多种生物活性,可有效预防或缓解慢性代谢性疾病。研究和阐明食物中各类植物化学物的活性及其作用机理是当前国内外营养学研究的热点。近年来,本课题组主要围绕皂苷类植物化学物的抗炎活性与分子机理,在细胞、动物和人群层面开展了系列研究,此研究方向持续获得国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金以及行业横向课题的资助。

2. 代谢性炎症的分子机制研究

慢性代谢性疾病的发病机理复杂多样,其中代谢性炎症(Metabolic inflammation)是促进其发生发展的一个关键因素。代谢性炎症的发生本质上是因为机体免疫系统与代谢相关的器官和组织之间的信息交流发生紊乱,其分子机制一直是现代营养学关注的热点领域。本课题组综合运用现代分子细胞生物学(如WB、FQ-PCR、蔗糖梯度超速离心等)和免疫学(如IP、ELISA等)技术以及各种动物模型(如肥胖小鼠、代谢相关脂肪性肝病小鼠、ApoE-/-基因敲除小鼠等),围绕TLR4/NF-kB、脂筏信号传导、巨噬细胞外泌体等探究代谢性炎症的分子机制。此研究方向获得国家自然科学基金面上项目的资助。
