主要从事从事仿生材料与医学的交叉研究,重点关注泛血管疾病和生物界面组织工程学,近年来在Advanced Materials (3篇,IF= 30.849) , Nature Communications (2篇,IF=17.694),Science Advances (IF=14.957), Accounts of Chemical Research (IF= 22.384), Angewandte Chemie International Edition (IF=15.336), Trends in Chemistry (IF= 22.448), Biomaterials (IF= 12.479), Bioactive Materials (1篇, IF= 14.593) 等主流期刊上发表SCI论文20多篇,受邀在权威期刊Military Medical Research (IF=34.915)、Accounts of Chemical Research和Trends in Chemistry (IF=22.448)撰写综述多篇。申请和授权国家发明专利18项,国际专利1项。获国家出版基金十四五重点出版物专项项目资助,主编《肌组织修复与再生材料》学术专著一部(790千字);
主持国家自然科学基金((青B、面上等))和国家重点研发计划课题等国家级和省市级项目10余项;作为骨干参与十四五国家重点研发计划及军委科技委基础加强计划重点项目等;主持国家级和省级教学改革项目各1项;担任广东省生物物理学会青年委员会主任委员,常务理事;兼任《Biomedical Engineering Communications》主编,《The Innovation》(SCI综合类小类一区,IF=32.1), 《Military Medical Research》(SCI 医学小类一区, IF=21.1),《Research》(SCI综合类小类一区,IF=11),《心血管疾病进展》、《中国动脉硬化杂志》等杂志 (青年) 编委等。
